Vesak Goodie Bag Distribution (Admiralty)

10th July marks the first day of our annual Vesak Goodie Bag distribution- which spans over 5 different dates this year. Our goodie bags are targeted to be given out to vulnerable seniors and needy families within the Sembawang GRC. Our first round of distribution was given out within the Admiralty area.

Although it was pouring and the perfect weather to stay home, our volunteers headed down with so much enthusiasm and eager to volunteer for the morning. Our volunteers for the day comprised of volunteers from Blossom Seed’s partner organizations (PA, BW Monastery, Covenant Evangelical Free Church), corporate groups (from Micron) as well as our very own dedicated senior volunteers.

Our event was graced by Admiralty’s MP Vikram Nair, who mingled with our volunteers and supported our event.

In all, our volunteers distributed over 350 goodie bags within the area and the residents were thankful for the goodie bags!
