Mooncake Distribution By Volunteers from ITE College East
As part of their volunteering effort, we had a group of youths from ITE College East over on Saturday to help out with our Mooncake Distribution for the upcoming Mid Autumn Festival.
The morning started off with the youths packing the mooncakes and some snacks in the goodie bags. What makes it special is that we also have halal mooncakes for our Muslim beneficiaries to enjoy. Although the weather was scorching hot the entire morning, our youth volunteers persevered and went from block to block to personally give out the mooncakes to our seniors.
The seniors were delighted to receive this little surprise and many repeatedly expressed their thanks. We are happy to add cheer to their lives during this festive season!
