Celebrating 53rd National Day at the Istana

Blossom Seeds was honored to be one of the few charity groups that was invited to the Istana on 10th August to celebrate the country's 53rd birthday. Together with 1300 guests at the National Day reception hosted by Madam President Halimah Jacob, we were treated to singer-songwriter Charlie Lim's performance of this year's National Day song, updated version of 1987 We Are Singapore.

The rest of the guest include ministers, MPs, senior civil servants, grassroots leaders and representatives from other volunteer, arts and cultural groups. As each charity organization can only sent 1 representative, Chairman of Blossom Seeds, Mr Aw Cheow Thiam represented the organization to attend this celebration.
