Inaugural Volunteer Management Conference 2023

Blossom Seeds is pleased to participate in the Inaugural Singapore Volunteer Management Conference, co-organised by the NCSS Singapore and Singapore University of Social Sciences. The event held at SIM Performing Arts Theatre aims to elevate volunteer management capabilities.

Mr Lawrence Wong (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance) and Mr Tan Chuan-Jin (Speaker of Parliament, Advisor to NCSS and Co-Chair of SG Cares) graced the occasion and we were happy to host them together with AMKFSC at our booth to showcase our skills based Volunteerism .

The conference reinforces the importance of the 3Ps partnership People, Private and Public (3P) sectors to work together to develop innovative and sustainable environmental initiatives that promote environmental ownership amongst the local community.

Our CEO Ms Ong Siew Chin was invited to be part of the practice seminar to share about integrating volunteers into the organisation, together with Mr Mohd Irshad, Vice President of SINDA and Mr Kevin Lee, Vice President of New Hope Community Services.

It was a wonderful opportunity to share our experience and also learn from our charity partners how we could improve the volunteers' journey. It was a great session meeting the various community partners to build stronger and more sustained volunteerism in Singapore.
