Auspicious Vesak Carnival 2017

It is uniquely Singapore that we get a chance to celebrate the festivals of all races and religions.
This fundraising Auspicious Vesak Carnival is jointly organised by Blossom Seeds and BW Monastery.  The funds will go towards funding our programmes and home help service for our needy elderly.

Many thanks to all our volunteers from different nationalities, different races, different ages, from all walks of life, and our youth volunteers from ITE Central campus.  Everyone gathered at Big Box early this morning to bring joy to the 200 multi-racial needy elderly from different parts of Singapore.

Minister Ong Ye Kung, graced the occasion as our guest of honour to distribute goodie coupons to the elderly. Thanks to all our partners from Chong Hua Tong SAC, Gambas, Jalan Kukoh, Redhill Moral SAC, Renci Hospital and Thye Hua Kwan and to all our volunteers, who made the occasion fun and memorable for the elderly.

In the spirit of Vesak, Blossom Seeds will also be distributing 1000 goodie bags to the needy elderly who were not able to join us at the carnival.

This event would not have been possible without all of you! You guys are awesome!
