Blossom Seeds held our Blossom Tribute to the Seniors Charity Lunch at Fairmont Hotel on Sunday 19 February 2023 after a 3 years hiatus. Our Blossom Tribute to the Seniors Charity Lunch also marks our 10th year anniversary - 10 years of serving the seniors with love and care. The theme is Social Cohesion and culmination of our efforts in supporting all our seniors to blossom, whether they are frail or active. It is also to express our deepest gratitude to every senior in our community,

Our Guest of Honour, Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health and Adviser for Sembawang Central (Sembawang GRC), Special Guests Dr Lim Wee Kiak, Adviser to Canberra (Sembawang GRC) and Ms Mariam Jaafar, Adviser to Canberra (Sembawang GRC) graced the occasion.

On display at the foyer were exhibition of Blossom Seeds’ Achievements and Milestones, intricate craft works handmade by our seniors and calligraphy. It also showcased our Charity Partner Tang Renaissance. The ballroom was occupied with more than 1,200 people attending the event Distinguished guests included Religious Partners, Agency partners, Grassroot leaders, Institutions, Associations, Corporate sponsors, Donors and Well-wishers.

Our Seniors from our centre made more than 1200 rabbits for this event to express gratitude to partners, sponsors and volunteers. The event reached a climax when our Guest of Honour, Special Guests & Distinguished Partners sang Friends in appreciation of the seniors’ efforts and support from our donors and partners. Active and frail seniors, including some on wheelchair presented them with flowers at the stage.
