With the prevalent COVID-19 advisory, Ramadhan festivities unfortunately has to be toned down again this year. Unlike previous years whereby we would invite the beneficiaries to Blossom Seeds centre for an Iftar session, we decided to bring the Iftar to the beneficiaries instead!

Supporting the Malay Activity Executive Committee (MAEC) under People’s Association, staff and volunteers from Blossom Seeds were present on Saturday 24 April at 5.30 pm to 7 pm. We packed and distributed halal food packs comprising of porridges, bento sets and dates to the needy beneficiaries at two sites at Sembawang Central.

Although it is an Iftar meal distribution, we welcomed beneficiaries of all races, religions and ages. Families and the elderly came to receive the food packs with smiles and heartfelt words of gratitude. Some of our staff and volunteers also headed up to the various units to distribute the food packs- much to the delight and surprise of the beneficiaries.

Blossom Seeds is happy to add an air of joy. Thank you to our partners and amazing volunteers for spreading the joy!
