Spring Cleaning 2025
New Year, New Beginnings!
On 16 January 2025, 106 Micron volunteers and 32 dedicated befrienders and event volunteers joined hands with Blossom Seeds to bring warmth, care, and a fresh start to more than 20 senior households.
Before the Year of the Snake approaches, our volunteers rolled up their sleeves, dusted, decluttered, and transformed homes—ensuring our seniors could celebrate the Lunar New Year in a clean and comfortable space. But beyond the sweeping and scrubbing, what truly shone through was the kindness and camaraderie that filled each home.
Seniors were not just recipients of this spring-cleaning effort; they were also the heart of the experience. Many shared their Chinese New Year wishes, personal stories, and heartfelt appreciation, reminding us all that the greatest gift is the connection between generations.
A huge thank you to Micron Technology and our incredible volunteers for turning compassion into action. Your efforts bring joy, dignity, and hope to our seniors, making their new year brighter—one clean home at a time!
