Launch of Kampong Micron 2023
Micron Technology announced its partnership with Blossom Seeds, to launch the Micron Kampong. This first-of-its-kind corporate social responsibility program aims to provide support and companionship for Sembawang’s seniors to stay healthy and socially connected.
Mr. Chen Kok Sing, Corporate Vice President and Singapore country manager shared that their goal is to create a more inclusive society where seniors can be involved and make a difference, so they do not feel left behind in today’s fast-paced world.
We are grateful to Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health and Adviser for Sembawang GRC, for gracing the launch, and shared the importance of this CSR partnership to the community.
To commemorate this launch, the Micron Volunteers and Blossom Seeds seniors put together a performance item and Min Ong joined the singalong to everyone's delight.
To support this initiative, Micron hosted fundraising activities during its flagship Charity Week and Family Day 2023. Our seniors are excited to have the rare opportunity to tour the Fab and partake in the activities.
